BE I^1 RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KI;PITUCKY: SECTION 1. The installation of a sewer to take care of storm water I from a point where Bradshaw Creels intersects the north property line Iof Kentucky Avenue to a point on Kentucky Avenue where said sewer wil connect with the concrete box or reception culvert constructed by the I; Illinois Central Railroad Company on its property between 15th and ,II 17th Streets, is hereby declared to be a necessity, and the same is I I authorized at the cost of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. I' S;CTIOIJ 2. The Board of Public "forks of said City is hereby authorize to cause such installation to be made, in accordance with the plans and specifications provided therefor by the City Engineer, either by letting contract for the doing of s:..ich v.,ork, or by causing the same to be done by workmen and labor, under supervision of said Board and the Cit?r Engineer, as may be deemed for the best interest of said City. 3r.OTION 3. i I The City Engineer is hereby directed promptly to pro,71-de Plans and specifications for said serer in order that said y1ork may be commenced anti completed as soon as Practicable. AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SWEEPING OF TRASH OR OTHER i; WASTE MATERIAL OF ANY CHARACTER, OR THE THROWING OF WASH '."LATER OF ANY j CHARACTER INTO OR UPON THE STREETS, GUTTERS, OR SIDE -'TALKS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, FROM ANY STORES OR OTHER PLACES OF OCCUPATION LOCATED WITHIN THE INNER OR OUTER FIRE DISTRICTS OF SAID CITY; AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION HEREOF. r BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA DUCAH, I KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. i It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation in the City of Paducah to sweep or dump trash, -dirt, paper or waste material of any character, or to empty or throw slop or wash water of any character into or upon the streets, gutters or side -walks of said City, from any store, dwelling or other place of habitation located within the inner or outer fire districts in the City of Paducah as established and fixed by the ordinances of said City. SECTION 2, Any violation hereof shall be and constitute a misdemeanor, and the violator shall be fined in the sum of not less than $5.00 nor more than ,20.00 for each offense. All ordinances, and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force; from and after its passage, approval and publication. 0. K.
