WHEREAS, Block, Fetter & Trost of Louisville, Kentucky, has
heretofore submitted a bid for the purchase of the bonds of the City
of Paducah, known as the Chicago, St. Louis Railroad Company bonds,

payable thirty years after date, and bearing interest at 4N51 per annum,
payable semi-annually, and -which bonds to be retired and paid will mature

July 1st, 1926:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENE-1iL COUNCIL OF TIiit CITY OF P: DUCAH,

That the bid of Block, Fetter & Trost, of Louisville, Kentucky,
for the purchase of the said refunding bonds of the City of Paducah, in
the sum of x;33,000.00, for the purpose of retiring the Chicago, St. Louis
Railroad Company bonds of 5j38,000.00, payable July 1st, 1926, at par, be,
and the same is hereby accepted, and when said bonds shall have been
issued as heretofore directed by Ordinance, l:he Treasurer of said City
is hereby authorized to deliver said bonds to said Block, Fetter & Trost
upon compliance with terms of the purchase price.
Si5CTION 2.
This Resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication.
