ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CON.SfRUCTION OF SE"!ERS IN

!'MEREAS the Board of Councilmen of the General Council of
the City of Paducah on the 20th day of April, 1925, adopted an

AND 1-HEREAS the Board of Aldermen of the said General Counci

AND 1,7HEREAS the Board of Aldermen of the Geneim l Council regularly
and duly passed said Ordinance on Play 4, 1925, which Ordinance was approv¢d
as required by law and by J. N. Bailey, I1ayor of the City of Paducah on t e
11th day of May; 1925, and was published as required by law on the 12th
day of L4ay, 1925.
AND 17REREAS each and all of said Ordinances provided that
said servers shall be c-nstructed in strict accordance with the plans,
grades, specifications and profiles as prepared and furnished by the City
Engineer of said City of Paducah and adopted by the Gendral Council of
said City.
AND "'HEREAS the plans and specifications for the seviers in said
Sevier District No. 3, Zones One, Two, Three, .Four and Five, have been
prepared on 30 sheets drawn by Henry A. Pulliam, former Commissioner of
Public "!orks and Chief Engineer of said City of Paducah.

NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY T113 GENERAL COUNCIL OF TIIE
CITY OF PADUCAH that the plans and speci£ications for the con-
struction of sewers in Sewer Zones One, Two, Three, Four and Five
in Sevier District No. 3, Exhibited on forty sheets of drawings, each
of said sheets dated 23rd day of Pdarch, 1923, and one sheet dated
the 28th day of February, 1923, and signed by Henry n. Pulliam,
Tdrmer commissioner of ruolic `Storks and Chief Engineer, of the
City of Paducah, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted
by the General Council of the City of Paducah as the official plans
and specifications for the construction of sewers in 'said zones in
said Sevier District No. 3, Said sheets are properly marked for
identification and enumerated as follows:
All specifications appearing in "Instructions to bidders
estimate of quantities, proposal, specifications and contract for th
construction of sanitary and combined sewers in Sewer District No.
3", prepared by E. R. Bradshaw, City Engineer, with Black & Veatch,
Consulting and Supervising Engineers, commencing on page 1 and endin
page 65. The said specifications and blue prints for, the reppective
zones as follows:
ZONE NO. 1:
One locality index map, profile and alignment map
sheets 2, 3, 4 and 5, and also general detail sheet.
ZONE NO. 2:
One locality index map, profile and alignment map
sheets 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7,8,9,10 and 11, and general detail sheet.
'LONE NO. 3:
One locality index map, profile and alignment map
sheets trio, 3 and 4, and general detail sheet.
`LONE NO. 4:
One locality and index map, profile alignment maps

sheets 2,334,5,6,7,8,9,10, 11 and 12, and general detail sheet.
ZONE NO. 5.
One locality and index map, profile and alignment

Also sheet No. 4 of trunk line extension contract, adopted
Feb wary 28th, 1923.
AND BE IT FURTiIER Ii SOLVED that said plans shall be signed by
the Mayor and the City Clerk and the blue prints attached hereto,

together with plans and specifications, and the sa-e are hereby
received, approved and filed.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the specifications for the
construction of said sewers in said zones shall be in accordance .vith
No. L ' 2.
the copies hereto attached, marked exhibit "F", and the beginning of.the
said construction, and the amount of the deposit with the bids and other
data fixed by the Board of Public Works is hereby approved.
AND BE IT FURTHeIR RESOLVED that the adoption and approval of
the detail specifications and blue prints hereto attached is subject to
the modifications and alterations prepared by the City Engineer since
the original blue prints and specifications were prepared, so as to
include certain minor changes recommended by Black & Veatch, Consulting
Engineers, and to omit from the said sa;aer zone that portion of the
territory now occupied or to be occupied by the shops of the Illinois
Central Railroad Company, located in `Lone 3.
AND BE IT FURT11ER RESOLVED: That this resolution shall tape
effect and be in force from and after its passage, record and approval.
