AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND MAKING MORE DEFINITE
THE PORTION OF THE CORPORATE LII,I TS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH EXTENDING
FROM THE INTERSECTION OF THE BENTON ROAD AND MILL STREET ALONG THE
EAST LINE OR SIDE OF MILL STREET TO LO!',' WATER MARK ON THE TENNESSEE
RIVER.
WHEREAS, the present corporate limits of the city of
Paducah, Kentucky, from the intersection of Benton Road and Mill
Street and extending thence in an Easterly direction with Mill Sbreet
to low water mark on Tennessee River, is indefinite in that no

particular part in line of Mill Street is designated or described;
and,

WHEREAS it is desired and deemed necessary for the
purpose of providing a street or public way in which the water mains
of Yaducah "later Company may be laid for the purpose of better
fire protection for the factories, industries and inhabitants located
in the vicinity of such boundary line, that the same be fixed or
established on the East side of Mill Street; NOVA, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COUNCML OF THE CITY OF
PADUCi?H, KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1.
That the East side of Mill Street from the intersection
of the Benton Road and Mill Street to low water mark on the Tennessee
River be, and the same is hereby fixed and established as the i
boundary line of the corporate limits of the city of Paducah along

SECTION 2.

All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication:
