'WHEREAS, There has been created and established, in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, Sevier District No. 3, w1hich has been divided into
Sub -Divisions A, B and C; And,
1.1HERLAS, There is being constructed, in said Sewer District,
trunk line sewers at the cost of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, which
trunk line sewers have no -a been completed; and,

, MAS, There has been created and established, Sewer Zone
Number Five, in Sub -Division A, Sevier District No. 3, by an ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on the 23rd day of February 1923,

described and a plat of which . zone appears on file in the office of the
City Engineer of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and may be inspected
by anyone making application therefor at said office; and,
Sewer Zone Number Five in Sub -Division A, Sevier District
No. 3, is not provided with sewers and is in a thickly populated territe--,'
and in order to provide adequate sewers for the property owners in said
Zone, it is hereby deemed and declared a necessity by the General Council
storm and
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,, that sanitary sewers be constructed in
said Zone in order to Provide adequate sewerage for the property owners
residing in said Zone, TTOW, THEREFORE -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL 0? THE CITY OF PADUCI�H,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That it is hereby declared a necessity by the General Council
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in order to secure adequate sewerage,
and in order to protect the health of the citizens residing in Sewer
Zone Number Five, Sub -Division A, Sevier District Yumber Three, that st.orm,and
sanitary sewers be constructed and laid out at the cost of t,,
e lots or
parcels of land benefitted thereby, and all of the lots or parcels of
land embraced in said Zone are hereby declared to be the Property benefitted,
and subject to be assessed for the cost of constructing said sewers.

Said Sevier Zone Number Five of Sub -Division A, of Sevier District
Number Three, in which said sewers are to be constructed is described
by metes and bounds as follow, to-v1it:
"Begirning at the intersection of the center
lines of 14th Street and Trimble Street; thence south-
ward with the center line Of 14th Street 203 feet 3
inches to the center line of an alley; tLence east-
ward %vith the center line Of said alley to the center

the intersection of the center lines of Campbell and Sixth
Streets west of Campbell Street; thence northward with the
center line of Campbell Street 67 feet 6 inches to a point
285 feet northward from the center line of 6th Street
west of Campbell Street; thence westward parallel to
and 285 feet from the center line of 6th Street west
of Campbell Street and along the northerly .line of

line of Harris Street; thence southward with the center
line of Harris Street 57 feet 6 inches to a point 227
feet 6 inches, measured along the center line of Harris

westward parallel to and 227 feet 6 inches from the
center line of 6th Street 460 feet to a point on the
center line of Boyd Street; thence deflecting 3 degrees
58 minutes to the left continuing westward parallel to
and 226.95 feet from the center line of 6th Street,
measured at ri7bt angles to 6th Street to a point
200 feet west of the west property line of Burnett Street,
said 200 feet being measured parallel to Sixth Street;
thence southward parallel to and 200 feet from the
west property line of Burnett Street said distance

on the center line of Ninth Street, if extended; thence
westward on the center line of ninth Street, if extended,
to the common intersection point of Blocks 40, 41, 51 and
50 of Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris Addition,
said point being 400 feet more or less, from the west
property line of Burnett Street and measured parallel to
Ilinth Street , if extended; thence southward, on the line
between Blocks 41 and 51 of Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and
Harris Addition, a distance of 330 feet, more or less,
to a point 150 feet north of the north property line of
Tenth Street said point being on the south property line
of an alley, if extended, running east and west through
said Block 41; thence westward on a line parallel to and
150 feet from the north property line of Tenth Street, said
150 feet being measured parallel to Flournoy Street a
distance of 259 feet, more or less, to.a point 150 feet
northward from the north property line of Tenth Street
and 141 feet eastward from the east oroperty line of
Flournoy Street, said 150 feet being measured parallel to
Flournoy Street and said 141 feet being measured parallel
to Tenth Street; thence southward on a line parallel to
and 141 feet from the east property line of Flournoy

Street, a distance of 180 feet, more or less, to a point
in the center line of Tenth Street, said point being where
a line _parallel to and 141 feet from the west property
line of Flournoy Street intersects the center line of
Tenth Street; said 141 feet being measured parallel to
Tenth Street; thence westward on the center line of
Tenth Street a distance of 601 feet, more or less, to a
point where the west line of Block 62 of the Flournoy,
Norton, Trimble and Harris Addition, if extended, inter-
sects the center line of Tenth Street, said point being
200 feet measured from the center line of Cleveland
Avenue and measured parallel to Tenth Streetj thence
southward on the line between Blocks 62 and 72 of the
Flournoy, i?orton, Trimble and Harris Addition, a distance
of 190 feet, more or less, to a point where the line
between lots 14 and 15 of Block 62, Flournoy, Norton,
Trimble and Harris Addition intersect the ,rest prope:-ty
line of Block 62 Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris
Addition, said point being 200 feet west of the center
line of Cleveland Avenue and 160 feet south of the north

SECTION 3.
Said servers shall be constructed along and under the
following named streets and alleys in Sevier Lone No. 5 in Sub -Division
A, Sevier District No. 3, and the cost of same shall be apportioned
against all the property, in said sevier zone as follows:
(1) All the lots or parcels of land bounding or abutting
on the hereinafter named streetip alleys or highways along or under
which such sewers shall be constructed are hereby declared to be the
property benefitted thereby, and said cost shall be apportioned and
assessed equally against said abutting lots or lands according to the
abutting feet thereon, provided that the costs of said construction does
not exceed ;2.00 per abutting foot.
(2) In the event the cost of construction of said searer
shall exceed :;2.00 per abutting foot, along any of said streets, alleys
or highways whereon said sewer shall be constructed, then such costs shall
be apportioned against all of the lots or lands in said sewer zone
benefitted by said sever, according to the area in square feet of the
lots or lands so benefitted. And which streets, alleys and highways
along which said sewer shall be constructed are described as follows,
