SLCTIOII 1.
That Baumer Avenue, or "A" Street, froui the north nroperty
line of 'heeler Addition to the nest curb line of 16th Street,
in the City of '_aducah, i:entucky, be improved by the grading and
gravelling of sar.:e, together with all necessary manholes, intakes, i
catch basins and serer Pipe connections, in accordcnce with the
i
plans and specifications provided therefor by the City "ngineer,
which will appear on file in the office of the City Engineer, and
are now referred to and made part hereof, as if specifically set
forth herein.
SECTION 2,
SPid construction shall be Cade under the direction and
supervision of the pity Engineer and Board of Public 'forks of said
City, and shall commence and be completed at the tide designated by
contract.
SECTIOIT 3.
The cost of such construction shall be paid for 1:rholly by the
property ovaners fronting or abutting thereon, to be apportioned to
and assessed against the property and property owners nbutlirg
thereon, acccrJing to the nuu-:ber of abutting feet,, excent that
portion to be paid b,• the City of Paducsh as reeuired by law.
SECTION 4. •I*

The Mayor of said City is hereby authorized and directed to

Bids shall be received for the imurovement herein provided for;
in accovdnnce rrith the flans and specifications ",:ade and provided there-
for by the City ngineer, and the contract therefor .shall be ac":rdedI
to the lowest and best bidder exceot the right is exnressly reserved to
rejedt any and all bids within the discretion of the Cenero.l Council,
and said General Council may accent any bid which appears to be for the
best i,.rcrest of said City.
