NO. 1050 SECTION 2. That the funds derived from the asr:essment of said pronerty shall be used for the nurnose of haying off the special tkx bills issued against said property, or such bonds as may be issued by the City of Paducah, Kentucky, pursuant to Sec Lion 3101 of the 1,entucky Statutes. SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, said tax assessments may, at the option of the property owners, be payable in cash without interest within thirty days from the date of panssage and piblicstion of thi's Ordinance, or in ten annual installments, provided, the property owners within thirty days enter into a written agreement with said City, in accordance with the provisions of said Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes. SECTION 4. In order to nrovide the funds for the immediate payment of the cost of that portion of the special assessments herein provided for, which may be paid on the ten year installment plan, as hereinabove provided, the City of Paducah rtay issue and sell improvement bonds, and to secure the payment of such bonds, there is hereby pledged such taxes and liens on the property assessed herein for the payment -of principal and interest, but such bonds will not be sold for less than par, and the proceeds derived therefrom shall be applied exclusively to the payment of the cost of such construction as hereinabove provided; and such bonds, if issued, shall bear interest and shall be payable in accordance with the provisions of Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes.
