TO- GETHER '•PITH ALL NECESSARY MANHOLES, CATCH BASINS, INTAKES AND SETER PIPE CONNECTIONS, ON MONROE STREET FROM THE :JEST PROPERTY LINA"] OF EIGHTH STREET TO THE EAST PROPERTY LINE OF NINTH STREET, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH! KENTUCKY, AT THE COST OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS, AND PROVIDING THAT SAME SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED UPON THE TEN YEAR PAYMENT PLAN. WHEREAS, it is deemed a necessity and desired by the property own- ers that the streets described in the caption hereof, and the streets hereinafter described, in the City of Paducah, wentucky, be constructed of improved paving material; NOW, THEREFORE - BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADU- CAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Monroe Street from the West property line of Eighth Street to the East property line of Ninth Street, be constructed of concrete or any other improved paving material, as may be determined by the Board of Commissioners, as the best and most economical material for the con- struction thereof, and that all necessary manholes, catch basins, in- takes and sewer pipe connections be made, all of which is to be paid for by the abutting property owners upon the Ten Year Payment Plan. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is instructed to bring in an Ordinance in accordance with this Resolution for the construction thereof. SECTION 3. That Seventeenth Street, or Fountain Avenue, from the North property line of Broadway Street to the South property line of Jefferson Street, be constructed of concrete or any other improved pavins material, as may be determined by the Board of Commissioners, as the best and most economical material for the construction thereof, and that all necessary manholes, catch basins, intakes and sever pipe connections be made, all of which is to be paid for by the abutting• property owners upon the Ten Year Payment Plan, except that the Paducah Railway Company, which owns a strip of ground through the center of said street twenty fee :wide and abut ting on both sides of said proposed improvement, shal.l, by reason of its abutting on both sides of said improvement, be assessed and pay one-half of the cost of said construction, and that the cost of paving such portion of said street so abutting upon said strip of mound, which belongs to the Paducah Rail:✓ay Company, shall be assessed against said Paducah Railway Company, and a tax shall be levied upon all the property, assets and franchises of said Company in the City of Paducah for the payment thereof. SECTION 2, The City Solicitor is instructed to brinF in an ordinance in accordance with this Resolution for the construction thereof. SECTION 3.
