The inyor end Commissioner of Public Fir:ance are herebc authorized
and directed to borr)w on behalf of, and .for the use and benefit of the
City of Paducah, from the City National Bank of Paducah, Kentucky, the sum
of Twenty Thousand (:;20,000.00) Dollars, to bear interest at the rate of
5-% per annum, a nd said sum so borrowed is hereby placed to the credit of
the General Fund of said City.
SECTION 2.
A note shall be executed, which shall bear the si,nature of the
City of Paducah by the, Mayor and Commissioner of Public finance of said
City, and said note shall be dried Aumst 5th, 1922, and shall be due and
payable On October 31st, 1922, andybear interest thereon at the rate of
5- per annum from maturi.t,r until paid, and for the payment of said note,

taxes due in October 1922.
