WHAREAs, under an Ordinance passed by `.he Board of Commission-
ers of the City of raducah, lentucky, and which became effective on the.
23rd day of May, 1921, time was fixed for the beginning of the con-
struction of a freight depot, as provide. in said ordinance, by the
Paducah & Illinois Railroad Company as December 1st, 1921, and later, by
resolution, the Board of Commissioners of: tic City of Paducah, extended
the tine .for the beginning of suc work to April 1 1922; and,
WHEREAS, The Paducah anq Illinois Railroad Company.* presented to
the Board of Commissioners a petition for a further extension of time froI
the beginning of the construction of depots as provided in said Ordinance,
because of financial and business conditions now existing;

SECT IOU 1.
That because of business and financial conditions existing with
the Railroads of the Co.,ntry, that the time for the beginning of the con-
structi.on of the depots, as provided in said.Ordinance as above referred
to, be extended toApril 1, 19231 at which time the said ?railroad Com-
pany shall begin the construction of depots as rrovided in said Ordi-
nar.ce, in good faith, and complete same as soon as practicable.
