SECTION 1.
There is hereby created a Board of Trustees of the Police and
Firemen's Persion Fund, -which shall be composed of the rayor, Commissioner

of Public Finance, Fire Chief and Police Chief of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, and said Board shall select, from their numoer, a President and

Secretary. The Commissioner of Public Finance shall be Ex -officio Treasur-
er of said Board, anq custodian of its funds.
S CT ION 2.
Said Board of Trustees shall have the authority, and shall perform
the duties, as provided and set -out in Chapter 28 of the Acts of 1920 of
the General Assembly of Kentucky.
SECT ION 3.
There shall be levied and set apart by the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the year 1922, at the same time
other taxes are levied, and for each and every ,year thereafter, a tax not
exceeding One Cent on each One Hundred Dollars of the value of the taxable
property in said City for said fund, to be used for the purposes as set -
lout and provided in Chapter 28 of the Act of 1920 of the General Assembly
lof Kentucky.
SECTION 4.
There shall be assesseP against each member of the Folice ani Fire
IDepartment not exceeding one per centum of the salary of each memuer, to
Iloe deducted and withheld from the monthly pay of each member, the same to
be placed by the Commissioner of Tublic ^inance to the credit of such fund,.

SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall take effect ani be in -orce from arA after
its passage, record and publication.
