T.219LS, The Board of Commissioners of the City- of Paducah, Kentucky, has heretofore, to -:pit: on the 9th day of My,1921, adopted an ordinance entitled, "AIT ORDI?I_:173 7ROY[DII'G FOR THE C-7STV77T1O1T OF COT?CRETE SIDE"AL:'S, CURBS _-.I'D GUTI RS, AND ALL I.TI: No., 7-_F -- Ordinance No. ----- P_",DUCAH. KENTUCKY: SECTION I. I That all of the property on the South side o.c Clay Street, from the property line on the "'est side of Seventeenth Street to the .i i gutter line on the East side of Nineteenth Street, in the City of Paducah,lI assessed the sum of `;1.7941 per Kentucky, be, and the same is hereby i II abutting foot, for the cost of construction of said sidewalks, curbs, gutters, manholes, intakes, sewers, catch basins and driveways. i J SECTION 2. I That all of the funds derived from the assessment of said pro- perty aforesaid, shall be used for the pur-pose of paying off the special -tax bills issued against said property, or such bonds as may be issued by the City of Paducah, pursuant to Sectij,y3101 of the Kentucky Statutes. S;C^L IO? 3. That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Y_entucky Statutes, said assessments may be, at the option of the property owners, payable in cash within thirty (30) days from the publication of this ordinance, or in ten annual installments as provided in said Section. S?CTIOIT 4, in order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of the cost of that portion of the said assessment ;anich may be paid on the Ten Year Payment Plan, the City of Paducah may issue and sell improvement bonds, and, to secure the payment of said bonds, there is hereby pledged I such taxes and liens on the property assessed herein for the payment of the principal and interest, but such bonds shall not be sold for less f than par and the proceeds thereof ap7:lied exclusively in payment of the improvements hereinbefore mentioned, and such bands, if issued, shall bear interest and shall be payable in accordance with the provisions of Sections 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes.
