THE WEST SIDE OF 13SCH AVRVUE, IF IMPROVED, TO TH7 EAST '.UTTER LITE ON BURNETT STREET, INCLUDING THE INTERSECTIONS OIT SAID STREETS, ITT 'T'HM CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AT THE COST OF THI+; ABUTTING PROF7,TY O'.TT};RS, AND PROVIDING THAT SAME WAY BE I'AID COP UPON THE TEN YEAR PAYMENT PLAIT," and, 79H:-RPAS, in accordance :with said Ordinance it Inas provided that the cost of construction of said curbs and gutters, and all neces- sary manholes, intakes, sewors, catch basins and driveways, shall be paid for by the abutting property owners, on both sides thereof, except that portion to be paid For by the City of Paducah, as required Uy law; WTTI ,?F.AS, pursuant to said ordinance, a contract was enter- ed into by and between Reynolds Brothers, Contractors, of Paducah, Yeiitucky, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the construction there. of; and , 0 No. Ordinance No. 71H -E A S, said contract has been completed, in all respects, and the work thereof finished and accepted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, on the 19th day of December, 1921, pursuant to the recommendation made therefor by the Commissioner of Public Affairs, and the Engineer's estimate of the cost thereof having been confirmed; now, thereforo,- BE IT ORDAINED BY TRI, BOARD Or COii1:I'ISSIOi??IS OF T?':: CITY OF PADU- CAH, K-TENTUCKY: S1 -"CT IOTv 1. That all of the property on both sides of Leech Avenue, from the i property line on the South side of Dorth Tenth Street to the gutter line or .that would be the _forth side of Eleventh Street, when improved; also both sides of eleventh Street, from the gutter line of the Intersection on what would be the :lest side of Leech Avenue, if improved, to the East gurter line on Burnett Street, including the intersections on said streets, in the City of Paducah, Y.entucky, oe, and the same is hereby assessed the sum of ;0.945 per abutting soot, for the cost of construction of said euros, gutters, manholes, intakes, sewers, catch basins and driveways. SECTION 2. That all os the funds derived from the assessment of said property aforesaid, shall be used for the purpose of paying oft the special tax j bills issued against said property, or such bonds as may be issued by the City of Paducah, pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes. S70-7 IOIi .3. That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, said assessments may be, at the option of the property owners, payable in cash within thirty (30) days from .the publication of this ordinance, or in ten annual installments as provided in said Section. SRCTIOY 4. In order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of the cost of that portion of the said assessment :✓hich may be paid on the Ten Year Payment Plan, the City of Paducah may issue and sell improvement bonds, I land, to secure the payment of said bonds, there is hereby pledged such taxes and liens on the property assessed herein for the payment of the principal and interest, but such bonds shall not be sold for lesFi than par ar:d the proceeds thereof applied exclusively in payment oi: the improve- ments hereinbefore mentioned, and such bonds, if issued, shall bear inter- est and shall be payable in accordance with the provisions of Sections 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes. yv-/,5�yl No. 61 Ordinance No. TRCTIOIT�5.
