I That all of the property on the '.Fest side of Goebel Avenue, from Ilthe East property line of Guthrie Avenue to a point where the South curb Kline of ;iorten Avenue, if extended, would intersect the [lest property line Ilof Goebel Avenue; also the East side of Goebel Avenue, from a stake set opposite the front of the building now occupied by the Union Drug Store, to the South ctmb line of '.7orten Avenue, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, ,,be, and the same is hereby assessed the sum of X2.39 per abutting foot, i 11 for the cost Of construction of said sidewalks, curbs, emitters, manholes, 'intakes, sewers, catch basins and driveways. SECTION 2. i That all of the funds derived from the assessment Of said property aforesaid, shall be used for the purpose of paying off the special tax I bilis issued against said property, or such bonds as may be issued by the City of Paducah, pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes. SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, said assess ments may be, at the option of the property owners, payable in cash within thirty (30) days from the publication of this Ordinance, or in ten annual installments as provided in said Section. SECTION 4. In order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of the cost o that portion of the said assessment which may be paid on the Ten Year Payment Plan, the City of Paducah may issue and sell improvement ponds, and, to secure the payment of said bonds, there is hereby pledged such taxes and liens on the property assessed herein for the payment of the principal and interest, but such bonds shall not be sold for less than par and the proceeds thereof applied exclusively in payment of the improvements' I! hereinbefore mentioned, and such bonds, if issued, shall bear interest and shall be payable in accordance ,,ii _th the provisions of Sections 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes. c SECTION 5.
