SECTION 1.
The Chief of 1-olice is hereby authorized to designate spaces upon
either side of any street in the district known as the inner fire limits,
-where vehicles shall not be parked. The said Chief of Police shall locate
these spaces with .regard to public convenience and to meet conditions of
traffic. These spaces shall be designated by signs placed by the Chief of
Police at either end of such space. All signs shall be of uniform dimen-
sions, lettering and wording, and shall be so worded as,nfa*r"drivers
of all vehicles that no vehicle shall park within the space between the
sio-ns.
SECTION 2.
It shall, be unlawful for any person to place ark- sign or obstruc-
tion designating any portion of any street in the district known as the
inner fire limits as a place in ,which vehicles shall not be parked, except
the signs authorized by the hie£ of Police, and no vehicle shall park
within said spaces between the hours of 6 A.M. and 6 P - M. -provided no
vehicle shall park in front of a Theatre or Idoving Picture Show, while
any performance or show is being conducted therein.
It shall, be unlawful for any person or persons to remove, destroy
or deface any sign placed by the Chief of Police designating said spaces
where vehicles shall not park.
All signs shall be paid for by the person or persons desiring
same to be placed at any space within the inner fire limits.
The word F park" as used in this Ordinance shall be taken to mean
to stand or store any vehicle on a public Street within the spaces so des-
i-,nated by the Chief of Police in the inner fire limits, provided this does
not apply to persons occupying buildings between spaces designated by signs
or to vehicles being loaded or unloaded.

SECTION 3.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined
any sum not less than $5.00 nor more than $20.00.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage,
