TION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CU-MISSIONERS OF Tla' CITY OF
PADUCAH, ZENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That whenever any person or persons shall desire to hold or
conduct any carnival or street fair within the corporate limits of the
City of Paducah, such person or persons shall first apply to the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah by written application for a license,
which application shall set forth the name and the residence address of
the person applying therefor and ;ive the location where such carnival,
or street fair is proposed to be conducted, and shall be sinned by at

least three free -holders residing in the vicinity and shall in addition
thereto be signed by the owner or his agent of the premises, signifying
his consent. Thereupon if the Board of Commissioners is satisfied, 'the
said license should be granted, they shall pass an order or motion to
that effect. The license herein provided for shall not issue until the
applicant therefor has paid to the Commissioner of Public finance the
sum o£($25.00) Twenty five Dollars for each and every day said carnival
or street fair is proposed to be operated or conducted and said license
shall state the number of days and designate the place •.ihere the same
shall be located and no such carnival or street fair shall be held or
conducted at any place other than that stated in said license.
Any person, firm, company or corporation conducting or operat-
ing a carnival or street fair in violation of the provisions of this
Ordinance, or without first having procured a license therefor in the
.manner herein provided, shall be fined not less than Fifty (��`'50.00)
Dollars nor more than One Hundred (N100.00) Dollars for each day said
ordinance is so violated.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith,
are, to the extent of such c nflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall tale effect from and after its passage
and publication.
