HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 7, Page 710, No Resolution NumberNo._71Q-- Ordinance No. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE SIDEWALKS„ CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND ALL NECESSARY MAITHOLES, INTAKES, SEWERS AND CATCH BASINS ON BOTH SIDES OF SOUTH NINTH STREET, FROM THE SOUTH GUTTER LINE II OF HUSBANDS STREET TO THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF ELIZABETH STREET, IF EXTENDED, AND ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HUSBANDS STREET, FR0Y THE PlEST PRO- PERTY LINE OF SEVENTH STREET TO THE EAST PROPERTY LINE OF NINTH STREET, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AT THE COST OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY Ou9NERS, AND PROVIDING THAT SAME 11-1Y BE PAID FOR UPON THE TEN YEAR PAY- MENT PLAN. NIIEREAS, it is deemed a necessity and desired by the property owners on both sides of South Ninth Street, from the South gutter line of Husbands Street to the North property line of Elizabeth Street, if extended, and on the South side of Husbands Street, from the gest pro- perty line of Seventh Street to the East property line of Ninth Street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by constructing concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, together with all necessary manholes, in- takes, sewers and catch basins,- now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF 00,11"ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADU- CAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That both sides of South Ninth Street, from the South gutter line of Husbands Street to the North property line of Elizabeth Street, if extended, and on the South side of Husbands Street, from the 7lest pro- perty line of Seventh Street to the East property line of Ninth Street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by constructing concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, together with all necessary manholes, in- takes, sewers and catch basins, and all of which is to be paid for by the abutting property owners upon the Ten Year Payment Plan. SECTION 2. That the City Solicitor is instructed to bring in an ordi- nance, in accordance with this resolution, for the construction thereof. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force ten (10) days after its passage. RECORDED APRIL 26t$, 1921. PUBLISHED 1921.
