RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE TIME WITHIN WHICH THE PADUCAH & ILLINOIS
RAILROAD COMPANY IS TO BEGIN, IN G00D FAITH, THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
DEPOTS AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IU;NTUCI{Y.
WHEREAS, The Paducah and Illinois Railroad Company is desirous
of having extended the time in which to begin, in good faith, the con-
struction of certain depots and other improvements in the City of Paducah;
AIM VIHEREAS, The said Paducah & Illinois Railroad Company has
this day tendered to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah a
communication requesting an extension of time for such purpose, for a
period of twelve months, and said request has been received by the Board
of Commissioners and action thereon deferred, pending consideration of
same;
AND VIHEREAS, The time heretofore extended for the commencement
of said work on said depots will expire on LZarch 1st, 1921;
NOW, in order to preserve the said Franchise, and to avoid any
complications that might result from failure to act upon the request of
said Railroad Company,- NOW, ,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE' BOARD OF CO-:T'IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the time within which the Paducah & Illinois Railroad Com -
pang is to begin, in good faith, the construction of the improvement pro-
vided_ for in its Franchise heretofore granted to it, be, and it is hereby
extended up until and including the first day of June, 1921.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage.91
