7JHEREAS, it is a necessity and desired by the property holders that
the driveway on South Fifth Street, from the South property line of Ken-
tucky Avenue tb the 1Jorth property line of Clark Street, in the City of

Paducah, Kentucky, be reconstructed of improved paving material, -now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY YEE BOARD OF COI,MISSIONERS OF 'TFE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KE NTUC KY :
SEC'ION 1.
That the driveway on South Fifth Street, from the South property
line of Kentucky Avenue to the 11orth property line of Clark Street, being
approximately 759 Linear feet, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be re-
constructed of concrete, tarvia, Kentucky Rock Asphalt, or any other im-
proved paving material, as may be determined by 'the Board of Commissioners
as the best and most economical material for the construction thereof, and
all of -which shall be done upon the Ten Year Payment Plan and assessed
against the abutting property holders thereon, on both sides thereof.
SECTION 2.
The City Solicitor is hereby directed to bring in an ordinance for
the construction of said work, when ordered by the Board of Commissioners,
after the adoption and publication of this Resolution according to law.
SECTION 5.
This Resolution shall take effect five days after its passage,
record and publication.

That the driveway on Broadway, from the East property line of
Seventeenth Street, (or Fountain i;venue) to the 'dlest property line of
Twenty-fifth Street, being approximately 3210 Linear feet, in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, be reconstructed of concrete, tarvia, Kentucky
Rock Asphalt, or any other improved paving material), as may be deter-
mined by the Board of Commissioners as the best and most economical material
for the construction thereof, and all of which shall be done upon the
Ten Year Payment Plan and assessed against the abutting property holders
thereon, on both sides thereof, except the Paducah Railway Company shall
pay such portion of the construction 'thereof as may be reouired by

operation of law.
SECTION 2.
The City Solicitor is hereby directed to bring in an ordi-
nance for the construction of said work, when ordered by the Board of
Commissioners, after the adoption and publication of this Resolution
according to law.
