J l c That a Board of Equalization for the purpose of supervising and equalizing the assessment of real and personal property in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for tayation is hereby established. SECTIO14 2. Said Board shall consist of three persons, who shall be property owners of the City of Paducah, not less than twenty-five (25) years of age, and who have resided in said City not less than five (5) years before their appointment, and who shall be selected by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah annually during the month of December. No. 0 Ordinance No. 3 ---- SECTIOii 3. Each member of said Board shall be paid the sum of Five (65.00) S� Dollars per day while in the performance of his duty, and they shall s�D perform such duties and have such powers as are now granted to Boards of Equalization of cities of the second class under the laws of the State of Kentucky. SECTION 4. i3 U �c Said Board shall meet at the office of the City Assessor in the City Hall in Paducah, Kentucky, each and every day, commencing with the' first Rlonday in January, 1921, and continue in session for a period of four (4) weeks from said date, unless said time is extended by the Board of Commissioners. Said Board of Equalization shall be in ses- sion from 9 o'clock A. M. until 5 o'clock P. M. each and every day. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, record and publication. I RECORDED DECEMBER 21st, 1920. PUBLISHED DECEMBER 22nd, 1920.
