AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF CITY ASSESSOR IN THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC FINANCE, PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES, FIXING THE CONI-
PENSATION, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THERE',^LITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COLMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, RENTUCI{i':
SECTION 1. '
There is hereby created, in the Department of Public Finance,
the position of City Assessor. The City Assessor shall be elected by
the Board of Commissioners, and shall serve at the pleasure of the
Board, and he shall perform all the duties required by general laws and s
by ordinances of the City of Paducah concerning the assessing of all
property for city purposes, and such other duties as may, from time to
time, be required of him by the Commissioner of Public Finance. The
City Assessor shall receive, as compensation for his services, the sum
of $150.00 per month.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby re-
pealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect fr

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIE?ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PAD
UCAH, RENTUCKY:
SECTION 1,
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
operate any automobile or other motor vehicle within the City of Paducah,
which has attached thereto a red side light or red spot light.
Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this
Section shall be fined not less than Five ($'5.00) Dollars, nor more than
Fifty (5;50.00) Dollars.
SECTION 2.
The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to the motor
equipment of the Paducah Fire Department.
