Ordinance No. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE OR KEN- TUCKY ROCK ASPHALT SIDEWALRB, CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND ALL NECESSARY MANHOLES, INTA_3'S, SEWERS AND CATCH BASIIIS ON BOTH SIDES OF BROAD STREET, BET;9EEN SIXTH STREET AND BRIDGE STREET, AT TIII; COST OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY HOLD- ERS, AND PROVIDING THAT SAIM I,IAY BE DONE UPON THE TEN YEAR PAYI!iENT PLAN. WHEREAS, it is a necessity and desired by the property holders that concrete or Kentucky Rock Asphalt sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and all necessary manholes, intakes, sewers and catch basins on both sides of Broad Street, between Sixth Street and Bridge Street, beginning at a point on Broad Street where the present concrete walks, etc, stop in front of J. C. Kolb's residence on the Southerly side of Broad Street, and running to the east curb line of Bridge Street; also on -the Northerly side of Broad Street from the present concrete intersection at the Northwest cor- ner of Sixth and Broad Street to a, point where the East curb line of Bridge street would intersect the Northerly property line of Broad Street, if same was extended across Broad Street, in the City of Paducah, ICentucky, be constructed of concrete or Kentucky Rock Asphalt; now, therefore, BE IT RESOL'V'ED BY TIE BOARD OF 001.1'_IS3IONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That both sides of Broad Street, between Sixth Street and Bridge Street, beginning at a point on Broad Street where the present concrete walks, etc. stop in front of J. C. Kolb's residence on the Southerly side of Broad Street, and running to the East curb line of Bridge Street; also on the Northerly side of Broad Street from the present concrete inter- section at the Northwest corner of Sixth and Broad Street to a point where the east curb line of Bridge Street would intersect the northerly property line of Broad Street, if same was extended across Broad Street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be constructed of concrete or Kentucky Rock Asphalt,, as may be determined by the Board of Commissioners as the best and most economical material for the construction thereof, and all of which shall be done upon the Ten Year Payment Plan and assessed against the abutting pro- perty holders thereon, on both sides thereof. SECTION 2. That the City Attorney is hereby directed to bring in an ordi- nance for the construction of said work ':jhen ordered by the Board of Com- missioners after the adoption and publication of this resolution according to law.
