SECTION 1.
That Section 15 of an ordinance entitled, "AII ORDIRAIdCE GOT.Li2I?IiIG `i HE

so that sa)ae shall -read as follows:
"SEC`i'IOII 15. It shall. be un1m.v.,2ul to sell or osfer for sale in the
City of Paducah any milk, cream or other dairy _products from any c oar or

cows which have not withstood successfully the tuberculin test, and no
milk, cream or other dairy products from any cow or cot:s shall be brou.rc-ht
into the City of Paducah for sale, unless the owner of such cow or cows
holds a certificate from a veterinarian acceptable to the ]Board of
Health of the City of .Paducah, and the State Veterinarian of the State
Of _Ientucky, stating that said cot•: or cows are free from tuberculosis,
as shorn by the tuberculin test, rLich test shall be made by said veter-
,m inaian accordin to the rules established by the State Veterinarian of
the State of ICentucky. `Fhe tuberculin test herein required shall be
subject to the rules and -requirements of the Board o:r realt:r_ of the
City of Paducah and of the State Veterinarian of the State,of Hentuclry,
and shall be made accordin,, to the standards of said State Veterinarian,
but may "be made by such veterinarian as herein :oroviaea.

the State oara of Health, and in accordance with the provisions of this!
ordinance. Provided, hot -:ever, that the provisions of this amended
section s'r_all not airply to persons delivering milk or cream 1 -.1 -thin the
City of Paducah for the purpose of having• same Ip.steurizea or of selling
same to any milk dealer who pasteurizes same before offerin_, it for sale!;
nor shall this amended section apply to any milk, cream or other dairy
i
products vrhich have been pasteurized accoraina to the rules prescribed
i
by the State Board of Health and in accordance with the provisions of
this ordinance. No milk, cream or other dairy products shall be sold
or offered for sale as pasteurized unless it has first been sno.jected to
a temperature of from 147 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit for not less than 30
minutes, and all such persons pasteurizing milk, cream or dairy products
shall cause to be attached to said pasteurizer a recording thermometer
to be ap-proved by the City Board of Health, the key to which shall be
held by the I:eat, Ir'_ilk and Live Stock Inspector of the City of Paducah,
and no milk, cream or dairy products which have been heated by any
method shall be sold or offered for sale, unless such heating, in all
respects, complies with these regulations.
j}fter pasteurization, the milk, cream or other dairy products
shall be immediately cooled and -placed in clean containers, and such
containers shall oe immediately sealed, and no such Pasteurized milk or
@.ream shall the sold or offered for sale or delivered to customers after
36 hours`'from the time of pasteurization, e:�cept that: between the first

day of November and the first day of April, such pasteurized mill, and
cream may be so sold or delivered ^t any time wiUhin 48 hours after pas-
teurization."
SECTION 2.
That said Section 42 of said ordinance be, and the same is hereby
amended and re-enacted so that same shall read as follo )s:
"SECTION 42. Ice cream sold or kept for sale in the City of Paducah
shall be: 1. Ice cream shall be a frozen product made from cream and sugar
with or without natural flavoring and shall contain not less than ten (10
per cent) per cent of milk fat, 2. Fruit ice cream shall be a frozan pro-
duct male from cream, sugar and sound clean mature fruits, and shall con-
tain not less than ten (10 per cent) per cent of milk fat. 3. Put ice
cream shall be a frozen product made from cream, sugar, and sound, non-
-rancid nuts, and shall contain not less than ten (10 per cent) per cent of
milk fat. All ice cream factories, or any other -,?lace where ice cream or
any substance' h --vin,; the resemblance of ice cream is inanufactured. or offer-,
ed for sale, must be kept in a sanitary condition, and all utensils, appara-
tus, etc., used in the mnufacture, sale or distribution of ice,cream, or
other frozen product, mtist be kept in a sanitary condition at all times."
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, record
,and publication.
