71HEREAS, it appears to be a necessity and desired by the,
property owners and the public generally, that the sidevialks,on -the
North Side of Broad Street, from the '.'lest property line of Fourth
Street to the East property line of Sixth Street, and on the South
side of Broad Street from the F1est line of Fifth Street to the East
property line of Henry Ifolb' s property, be improved_ vii th concrete
material, together with curbing and all necessary gutters, manholes, _
intakes and drain pipes; nol^r, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMiIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, TMITUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the sidewalks on the North Side of Broad Street, from
the West property line of Fourth Street to the East Ixroperty lire of
Sixth Street, and on the South side of Broad Street from the ',lest line
of Fifth Street to the East property line of Henry Kolb's _property, be
constructed of concrete material, together Frith the curbing and all
the necessary gutters, manholes, intakes and drain pipes therefor, at

the cost of abutting property holders, to be assessed against the abutting
property, and to be paid (at the option of said abutting property holders)
upon the Ten Year Plan, and upon the publication of this resolution, in
accordance with the Kentucky Statutes, the City Attorney is authorized
and directed to draw an ordinance therefor.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall take effect five days after its passage,
record and publication.
