BE IT ORDAINED BY THF. BOARD OF COI,II.:ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. All appointive employees of the City of Paducah shall be paid on the bth and 20th days of each month; but v:hen such pay days shall fall on Sunday or a Legal Holiday, said employees shall be paid on the next legal day following. The provisions of this section shall not apply to payments due to persons who may be discharged or removed from service, or to those who are employed in temporary employments extending over a less length of time than one-half of a month.. SECTION 2. For the purpose of carrying out this ordinance, all pay -rolls of appointive employees of said City shall be so arranged as to include all the pay of employees from the first to the fifteenth of each month in - elusive in the first pay -roll; and from the sixteenth to the last day of each month inclusive in the second Pay -roll; and said pay -rolls shall, be delivered to the Commissioner of Public Finance at least three days be- fore the days on .:ni;h payments are to be made, as required in this ordinance. SECTIOII S. all ordinances and rules of de'partrrents in conflict herev:ith are hereby repealed. SECTIO14 4. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIM,1ISSION33S OF THE, CITY OF PADUCAH, lO;NTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the premiums on all official bonds of all officers and employees of the City of Paducah, vrho are required -by lave to execute bonds for the performance of their duties as such officers and employees, shall, where su6h surety is an incorporated surety or bonding company, be paid out of the general expenditure fund of the City of Paducah. This ordinance shall relate to all bonds hereafter to be executed, and the premiums on all bonds heretofore executed, where such premium charPes accrue after the adoption of this ordinance.
