JHEREI_S, on April 30, 1918, the Board of Commissioners passed a
Resolution providing for the construction of storm Water sewers begipning
at Eighth and Jones streets, extending dorm Eighth street to Jackson street,
thence down Jackson street to the river; and,
_ 'i=REAS _ the City Engineer has found and determined that on account
of the grade or level that mould be required if such sewer is st—,rted at
8th and Jones street and carried down Jackson street as contemplated, that
the sewer mould strike the sanitary sewer in several places; and,
IMMAS, the City Engineer has recommended that this sewer be run
down Tennessee street to the river, in order to obviate striking the
sanitary sewers; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0121TISSIO17-RS OF THE
CITY OF PADUC_',H; IaIlTUCI Y:
Section I. That the Resolution instructing, and authorizing
the Commissioner of Public `;forks to construct storm water sewers and
intakes beginning at Eighth and Jones streets, extending down Eighth street
to Jackson street, thence down Jackson street to the river, passed by the
Board of Commissioners on April 30, 1918, be, and the same is hereby
repealed.
'Section II. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and record.
