A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING JAMES. 70. WOOLDRIDGE AS MAYQR PRO. TW OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, '"RENTUCEY,.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C01,MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
Section 1. That James L.7ooldridge, Commissioner of Public Safety,
be and he is hereby designated and elected as Mayor pro tem of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
Section 2. That he shall perform such duties as I:iayor pro,tem
as is prescribed by law and ordinances of the City of Paducah.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after
its passage and: record.

WHEREAS, the Official Newspaper, the People's Voice, has suspended
operation; now, therefore -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0101ISSIOPIERS OF This CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
Section 1.
That the Sun Publishing Company be, and the same is hereby desig-
nated and declared to be the official newspaper of the City of Paducah,
under the provisions of the ordinance now in force.
Section 2.
That said appointment is expressly made for no specific term of
years, but at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners, and said
printer may be removed, with or without cause, by the Board of Commis-
sioners at any time they deem it expedient.
Section 3.
This Resolution to be in force and effect from and after its
passage and record.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners January 16, 1918.
