THEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah on May
30, 1917 passed an ordinance requiring any water company supplying water
to the City of Paducah or to any of its citizens to renew or replace, at

its own expense, service pipes extending from the mains of such company
to the property lines of water consumers taking water from such company,
which ordinance was recorded on May 30, 1917, and published on May 31,
1917.in the official newspaper; and,
WHEREAS, said Board of Commissioners has this day repealed said
ordinance and is not desirous of requiring the Paducah dater Company, or
any other water company, to conform to its terms or to renew any pipes in
pursuance thereof; and,
WHEREAS, a certain notice was served upon said Company by L. A.
Washington, Commissioner of Public Works of said City, under date of June

Ordinance No.
1, 1917, notifying said Company to renew certain pipes on Jefferson
street between Eleventh and Seventeenth streets, and it now being the
sense of the Board that this renewal should not be required of the Plater
Company under said ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COLMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That all action taken in pursuance of said ordinance,
including the service of said notice above mentioned upon the said Water
Company be, and the same is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and record.

PiASHINGTON TO CLARK STREET, BET'.EEN FIFTH ,_ND SIXTH STREETS, IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, BY CONCRETE.
WEEREAS, it is a necessity and desired by the property holders
that the alley extending from ''ashington to Clark Street, between Fifth
and Sixth streets, be improved by constructing same of concrete -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOiiED OF COMMISSIOIJERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUC-H, RMITUCKY:
Section 1. That the alley extending from Washington Street to Clark
Street, between Fifth and Sixth streets, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
be improved by constructing same of concrete, at the cost of the abutting
property owners, and that the City Solicitor be instructed to bring in
an ordinance for the construction thereof.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force five
days after its passage, record and publication.
