ou4 Sunday Schools and are desirous of enoouraging the efforts of those
who are contributing their time, energy and money to this holy cause, and
being advised that the Kentucky Sunday School nssocivtion has designated
Sunday, Lay 6th as "GO TO SUNDnY SCHuuL D.,Y"; and
WHERES, ^o believe that a study of the bible is necessary to develop
a strong, Christian character, and that the Sunday School is an efficient
agency for the promotion of systematic bible study, and this movement is
non-sectarian and that all the churches and persons not church members
may participate in same, and that it is desiredthat the attendance exceed
the one million marl: of last year- now, there�Pore:

Sec. 1. That all persons are earnestly urUed to attend some Sunday
School on said date in order that the attendance of the last annual "Go
to Sunday School Day" may be exceeded, there having been in attendance on
said day over a million persons in the State of Kentucky.
Sec. 2. That all persons, both old and young, are earnestly requested
to participate in the GO TO SUIID.Y SCHOOL PaRnDE or. Saturday evening
-ay 5th.
Sec. 3. BE 1: FURTHER P,ESOLVED that the City of Paducah lend its overs
aid and encouraF-oment to this movement, and that neaessary patrolmen lo
.:sed to protect the younger participants in the parade at street inter-
