PADUC,di, KENTUCFY:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company
or corporation to maintain any 4uilding, establishment or premises, `
wherein or whereon animals or fowls. of any kind are slaughtered or dressed
or prepared for sale, or wherein or whereon animals or foals are stored
or kept, within one hundred (100) feet of any dwelling house in the
City'of Paducah, Kentucky.
Section 2. That it shall be unlawful fo r any person, firm,. company
or corporation to slaughter, prepare or dress any animals or fowls at
any place within the City of Paducah, Kentucky, less than one hundred (100)
feet from any dwelling house.
Section 3. This ordinance shall not apply to persons slaughtering on
their own premises animals or foals for the use exclusively of the owners,
tenants or occupants of such premises, bat is intended only to apply to
the slaughtering, preparing and dressing of animals and fowls designed for
sale or the use of persons other than the occupants of the premises unon
which they are slaughtered, prepared or dressed.
Section 4. Any person, firm, company or corporation violating any of
the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty (;;20.00)
Dollars nor more than One Hundred (,100.00) Dollars for each offense, and
each day animals or fowls are slaughtered, dressed or prepared, in
violation of this ordinance, shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and record.
