That, WHEREAS, the construction of sidewalks, curbs and gutters
on Washington and Llonroe, Eighth and Ninth Streets, has disturbed the
drainage to such an extent that it has become necessary to construct store,
sewers to take care of this drainage; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOhRD OF COI.7IISSIONERS OF THE CITY Or
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
Section 1. That the Commissioner of Public 'Norks is hereby instructed
and authorized to construct storm water sewers and intakes on the follow-
ing streets, to-vit:
(1) Washington street from the East side of Third street
to ttre 'Test side of Sixth street.
(2) To extend the present storm sewer now ending about
ninety (90) feet south of Harrison street, thence south
on Third street to I:Ionroe, thence East on Monroe street
to Second street and hest on I:Ionroe street to Seventh
street.
(3) On Ninth street from Jefferson to Monroe street.
(4) On Eighth street from Jefferson to Monroe street.
Section 2. That the cost of construction of said sewers be paid for
from the special sever fund.
Section 3. This Resolution to take effect from and after its passage
and record.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COM-l"ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH;
Sec. 1 That the hereinafter described property be sold and conveyed to
L. R. Barnes for and in consideration of the .sum of One Hurdred and Seventy
Five ()$175.) Dollars by said City.
Sec. 2 Be it further resolved that the 3.1ayor, Frank N. Burns, is hereby
authorized and directed by said Board to enter into • and execute in behalf
of said city of Paducah a General Warranty deed to L. R. Barnes conveying
to him the following described property, to -wit:
A certain lot or parcel of ground lying and being in the city of
Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, and more particularly described as
follows: Being lot number 16 in Block B Sowells Addition to Paducah,
Kentucky. A plat of said addition being recorded in Plat Book A page 6,
said lot fronts forty (40) feet and runs back at a uniform width one
hundred and thirty three (133) feet to an alley. Being the same lot con-
veyed to Elinor Trezevant by L. R. Barres and the same lot conveyed to
L. R. Barnes by J. M. Stallings (see deed book 66 page 137) and same lot
conveyed to J. T.T. Stallings by A. B. Sowell as recorded in Deed Book 60
page 271 in the office of the Clerk of the I:IcOrack-en County Court. And
being the sane lot conveyed to the City of Padacajh by Cecil Reed, Master
Commissioner of MIcCracken County, as will be seen by deed recorded in Com-
missioners Deed Book 5 (five) page 580 in the clerk's office of the
McCracken County Court.
