Sea. 4. In order to provide -, :fund for the immediate pLyf.iont of the
cost of'that portion ol the special asoesm,onto herein provided :,'Q,,
vhich are to be paid 01-1 the iiIStallMellt-p4,VMCft-1)1&-I-i, as hereinbefore
provided for, the City of Paducah shall issue and sell Improvement bonds,
and to secure the payment of which bonds there is hereby pledged such
taxes and liens on the property assessed herein for the payment of the
principal and interest of such bonds, but such bonds shall not be sold
for less than par, and the proceeds thereof applied exclusively to the
-payment of the Improvement of said street as hereinbefore mentioned, and
such bonds shall be issued and shall bear interest, and shall be payable
in accordance with the provisions of Section 3101 of the Kentucky
Statutes as amerded and re-enacted by the General "ssembly of the
Commonwealth of Xentucloj for 1910 and contained in said Act hereinbefore
mentioned.
Sec. 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and the recording of smie.

BE IT RESOLVED that Messrs. Bernheim Bros. of Louisville be
extended the heartfelt thanks of the citizens of Paducah who will
benefit by the splendid donation of these gentlemen in placing at
the disposal of the City 1200 bushels of coal.
