DUTIES", passed by the Board of Commissioners Jm- uary 3, 1916 and
recorded January 3, 1916 , be, and the sane is hereby ..mended by strik-
ing therefrom the words and figures as follows, to -wit:
"who shall receive a salary of Five
hundred (,;?500.00) Dollars per year"
and inserting in lieu thereof the following words and figures:
"who shall receive a salary of ?fine
Hundred (,; 900.00) Dollars per year",

so that said Section when so amended shall read as follows, to -wit:
Section 1. CITY SOLICITOR. There shall be elected by the Board of
Commissioners a Cite Solicitor, who shall be sworn to faithfully
discharge his duties, and who shall receive a salary of Twelfe Hur_dred
(y1200.00) Dollars per year.
Said City Solicitor shall have an assistant, who shall
receive a salary of I!ine Hundred (,,x900.00) Dollars per year, and who
shall be the acting City Prosecuting . ttorney, under the general
supervision and direction of the City Solicitor, and who shall perform
such duties as are required of him by the City Solicitor and the Board
of Commissioners.
Sec.
2. -11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Sec.
3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
January 1st, 1917.
