;hat the following named members be appointed as Chief
of Police and Captains of the Paducah Police Department, to -wit:
L. .:. Graham, Chief of Police.
Henry Bailey, Day Captain.
Lill Poore, Tight Captain.
and for the present the Paducah Police force shall remain as it now
stands, until furthor orders of'the Commissioners.
BE IT 2LTRTHLR RESOL'JED that patrolman J. ''U. Fovler be and
he is hereby dismissed from service, and that present !light Captain
halter England be placed on the force as patrolman in his stead,
This Resolution to take immediate effect, and the
officers hereinbbove named shall enter upon their duties at once.

Whereas, Lee Bell has been endorsed by a large number
of citizens, in open meeting, for the position of City Scavenger
and Collector of Dead Animals, and believing that he is competent
for said position- therefore,
BE Ii RESOLVED BY THE BO—RD OF COMUSSIONERS OF THE

That Pleas ;;;lie, the present ineutbent of said position,
be relieved of his duties and his services terminated.

to fill the vacancy in the position of City Scavenger and Collector
