All ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE ABUTTING PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF THE
ALLEY BETIVEEN SIXTH AND SEVENTH STREETS PiND MONROE AND I.liDISON STREETS,
III THE CITY OF PADUC,iH, KENTUCKY, THE SUlI OF TWENTY-FIVE (251) CENTS PER
FRONT FOOT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
has heretofore, on the 22nd day of I.Iay, 1916, adopted an ordinance
entitled, "All ORDINANCE PROVIDIIIG FOR THE DaPROVEI.-IIT OFAl! ALLEY EX-
TENDING FROK 3,1011ROE ST_3EET TO I,i=SON STREET BETWEEN SIXTH A1:1D SEVENTH
STREETS, IN THE CITY OF PADM,.H, KTIITUCXY, BY GRADING !,I'ID GRAVELING
and,
IHERE<iS, in accordance with said ordinance it is provided that the
cost of the construction of said alley shall be paid for by the abutting
property owners on both sides thereof, except that portion to be paid for
by the City of Paducah, as required by law; and,
WhERErS, pursuant to said ordinance a contract was, on the 6th day
of September, 1916, entered into by and between J. M. Bradshaw, of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the City of Paducah for the construction
of said alley; and,
WIMEnS, said contract has been completed in all respects and the
improvement therein provided for has been finished and accepted by the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, on the 20th day
of November, 1916, pursuant to recommendations made therefor by the Com-
missioner of Public Works of said. city- now, therefore,

CITY OF PADUCAH, L1E7ITUCKY:
Sec. 1. That all the property on both sides of said alley be, and the
same is hereby assessed the sum of twenty-five (241) cents per front foot
for the cost of construction of said alley by grading and graveling same.
Sec. 2. That all the hands derived from the assessment of said proper-
ty shall be used for the purpose of paying off the special tax bills
issued against said property, pursuant to Section 3096 of the Kentucky
Statutes.
Seo. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, approval and publication.
