A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DOII P. MIRTON AS LLAYOR PRO TEL? OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, I, 11^ CKY. 0
i,HEREAS, there oxists now a vacancy in the office of Mayor
pro tom of the City of Paducah, by reason of the expiration of the term
of office of Hal S. Corbett under the appointment under which he was
acting from the Governor of Kentucky, now, therefore—
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOY -RD OF 0OI.111ISSIONERS OF ME CITY OF
PADUC-H, I(ENTUCKY:
Section 1. That Don P. ISarton be, and he is hereby designated and elected
as Lfayor pro tem of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to perform such
duties as such Lfayor pro tem as is prescribed by law and ordinances of
the City of Paducah.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage
and record.

7MEREAS, the newly elected Lfayor end Commissioners, Burns,
Idarton, Gardner and Graves, have received their certificates of
election, taken the oath, executed bond, and qualified as 1.:ayor and
Commissioners, respectively, of the City of Paducah, and Tit EAS,
Sanders E. Clay vaoatod the office of CorUlissioner of Safety on the
10th day of November, 1916, and i;FL4Ii1;:.5, it appears from the report
of J,. D. Smith, export accountant, that the accounts of said office
of the Com'r of Safety are correct,
