A RESOLUTIO11 PROVIDING FOR THE LITEIISION OF TII._E FOR THE
COMPLETION OF THE RECONSTRUCTIOII OF BROADVLY FT011 FIRST TO FOURTH
STREET.
VIHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners did, on the 10th day of
April 1916, pass an Ordinance entitled, "All ORDIIII ICE PROVIDING FOR
THE RECONSTRUCTIOIt OF BROADWAY FROM THE WEST CURB LIME OF FIRST
STREET TO DIE L'liST CURB LINE OF FOURTH STREET, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
YEI1TUCXY, AND PROVIDING THAT SAID Ii!1'ROVEi7E,_IT S11LL BE I'. :ADE Oil THE
TBN YEAR PLAN", and
VHEREAS, Section Ttiio of said ordinance calls for this v;ork to
be completed on or before six months after the passage and recording
of this ordinance, v.,hich was published on April 25, 1916, and as the
time specified for the completion of this viork will be on October 25,
1916, and owing to unavoidable delays in the contractor getting
started, malting it impossible to complete the work as specified in
said ordinance, now, therefore -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COLMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, =UC%Y:
Section 1.
That the time for the completion of the work ordered done
under this ordinance be hereby extended until December 1st, 1916.
Section 2.
This Resolution shall take effect from and after its
adoption, record and publication.
