A RESOLUTION FOR THE EXTENSION OF TIES FOR THE 40
COMPLETION OF THE FOLLOWING CONTRACTS -
(1) For the construction of sidewalks, curb and gutters,
f•i &C., on Sixth street from Kentucky Ave. to Tennessee
street as stipulated in ordinance #168, adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on April 10th, 1916.
(2)
For the
construction of sidewalks, curb and gutters,
&c., on
Fourth street from Monroe Street to Clay
street,
as stipulated in ordinance #206, adopted by
Board of
Commissioners on May 22nd, 1916.
(3)
For the
construction of sidewalks, curb, gutters,
etc., on
North side of Clay street from Fountain
Avenue to 19th St. , as provided in ordinance ;203 ,
adopted
by Boaird of Commissioners 1.7ay 22nd, 1916.
(4)
For the
construction of sidewalks, curb, gutters,
&c., in
territory embraced from East property line
of Second street to West property line of Ilinth
street,
and from the South property line of Wash-
ington street as provided in ordinance jp190, adopted
by Board
of Commissioners April 17th, 1916.
WEEREAS,
owing to delays, the above mentioned work
cannot be
completed
within the time specifidd by the ordinances
for same -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF 00I,UdISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
Sec. 1. That the time for the completion of the four con-
tracts herein mentioned be extended for a period of sig months
from September 6th, 1916.
Sec. 2. That this Resolution shall take effect five (5)
days after its passage and record and publication.
