Section 1.
That every drayman, hackman, truckman, cabman, expressman,
transfer company, and all others pursuing like occupations, Who shall
carry, transport or remove the household goods of another person, firm,
company or corporation from any place within the corporate limits of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky to any other place therein, or to any place of
storage, shall -within six (o) hours after such carriage, transportation
or removal shall have begun- make a written report to the Chief of
Police, upon blanks to be furnished for that purpose by the Chief of
Police, stating therein the place from and the place to which such removal
is being or was made, together with the name of the owner of the goods
removed.
That every drayman, hackman, truckman, cabman, expressman,
transfer company and all others pursuing like occupations, %^ho shall
carry, transport or remove the household goods of another person, firm,
company or corporation from any plact within the corporate limits of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, to any -railroad station, wharfboat, ferry or
steamboat landing, within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, shall- immediately, and not more than two hours after such
carriage, transportation or removal shall have begun- make a report to
the Chief of Police, upon blanks to be furnished by the Chief of Police
for such purpose, stating therein the place from and the place to which
such removal is being made or was made, together with the name of the
owner of the goods removed.
Section 3.
Any person, firm, company or corporation failing to make such
report, at the time and in the manner above mentioned, shall be fined rot
less than two (V"2.00) dollars nor more than fifty (9p50.00) dollars for
each offense.
Section 4.
That the Chief of Police or Commiissioner of Public Safety shall
keep and maintain a record, continuously, of the reports made from time to
time by persons moving or transferring merchandise or household goods, as

specified in sections 1 and 2 of this Ordinance, and said record shall
be, at all times, where the public may have access to seine for infor-
mation.
Section 5.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and record.
