Section 1.
That an ordinance entitled "AI1 ORDINAITCE GOVERNING THE SALE OF

OF DAIRIES PID i:IILK DEPOTS AND THE CONDITION AND USE OF UTENSILS,
VEHICLES, ETC. USED ILI THE HANDLING, I;,APTUFACTURING OR S LE OF LIILK OR
DAIRY PRODUCTS, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND REPEALING CERTAIN
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH", approved by James P. Smith, Alayor,
September lst, 1911, be, and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto a section, which shall be known_ as Section 15 (Fifteen) thereof,
in words and figures as follows, to -wit:
It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale any sweet milk
produced from any cow or cows purchased, or otherwise acquired, after

ithe passage of this Ordinance, which have not withstood successfully
the tuberculin test. Upon and after the passage and record of this
Ordinance no sweet milk will be allowed to be sold, or offered for
sale, or brought into the City of Paducah for sale, from any cow or cows, �
unless the owner of said cow or cows holds a certificate of a veterinarian
acceptable to the Board of Health of the City of Paducah, certifying
that said cow or cows are free from tuberculosis, as shown by the
tuberculin test. The veterinary certificate, properly sworn to, must
show in detail the tuberculin test as made by him according to the

standard of the State Veterinarian of the State of Kentucky.
It shall be unlavr£ul for any dairyman to sell or offer for sale
r' any sweet milk produced from any cow or toys that have not withstood
successfully the tuberculin test. Said tuberculin test to be in charge
of the Live Stock, Lieat & Milk Inspector of the City of Paducah, and to
be made by him according to the standards of the State Veterinarian of
the State of Kentucky, or by some other licensed veterinarian of the
State of Kentucky.
All cattle, both cows and bulls, in any dairy herd, which have
not heretofore successfully Withstood the tuberculin test shall be
tested before any se:eet milk produced from any of the members of such
herd is sold, or offered for sale, in the city of Paducah,- and all
coves or bulls added to any. such dairy herd, which have not successfully
withstood the tuberculin test, shall first be tested before any sweet
milk produced from such herd is sold.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage
and record.
