IHEREAS, it is a necessity and desired by the property
holders, that Broadway and Jefferson streets from the West property
line of Sixteenth street to the East curb line of Seventeenth
street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be reconstructed of
improved paving material -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BO.IZD OF COi.II.:ISSIOiTERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUC_,H, KENTUCKY:
See. 1. That the driveways on Broadway and Jefferson streets
from the West property line of Sixteenth street to the East curb
line of Seventeenth street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be
reconstructed of concrete, bitulithic, asphalt, or vitrified ,.
brick, as may be determined by the Board of Commissioners as the --.
best and most economical material for the construction thereof,
and all of erhich shall be done upon the ten year payment plan and
assessed against the abutting property holders thereon, ori both
sides thereof, except upon Broadway where the Paducah Traction

Company shall pay such portion of the construction thereof as may
be required by operation of lay:.
Sec. 2. That the City Solicitor is hereby directed to bring in
an ordinance for the construction of said work at the neat -regular
meeting after the adoption and publication of this Resolution,
according to law, and this Resolution shall take effect five days
after its passage and record.
