UPON THE TEN YEAR PAYMENT PLAN," and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Ordinance, it was provided that
the cost of the construction of said curbs and gutters, and all necessary
• manholes, intakes, senors, catch basins and driveways, shall be paid for
by the abutting � property o:n:ers, except that portion to he paid .for by the
City of Paducah, as required by law; and,
:VHZIEAS, pursuant to said ordinance, a contract was entered into
by and between Yanoy & Johnson, Contractors, of Paducah, Kentucky, and the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the construction thereof; and,
JHEREAS, said contract has been completed, in all respects, and
the work thereof finished and accepted by the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, with exception of 1287.57 of 4aid work, -which

has been deducted from the payment, by motion of the board on the 31st day!
of December, 1923, pursuant to the recommendation made therefor by the
Commissioner of Public Works; and the Engineer's Estimate of the cost
thereof having been confirmed; NO7, THEREFORE -

PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That all of the property on both sides of Tenth Street from the

Eirth property line of Jefferson Street to the South property line of
Madison Street; on both sides of Yonroo Street from the "lest property line
of Eighth Street to the Kest propertV line of twelfth Street; on both
sides of Second Street from the South property ]Eine of 7ashinoton Street !
to the North property line of Clark Street; on both sides of Third Street
from the North property line of Yor•roe Street to the South property line
Of I'adison Street; on both sides of Eleventh Street from the North propertq
line of Jefferson; Street to the South property line of 140 son Street; on

Estimate.•
SECTION 2.
That all of the funds derived from the assessment of said
prof,$)rty aforesaid, shall be lied for t:hc; pin --pose of paying off the
special tax bills issued against said property, or such bonds as may be
issued by the City.of Paducah, purs-Lmnt to Section 3101 of the Xr^rtucky
Statutes.
SECTION 3.
That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes,
said Assessment may be, at the option of the propert,• o':rr.ers, Payable
it cash -ni thi n thirty (.30) days from the publicat ion of this Ord irance,
or in ten annual installments, as provided in said section.
SECTI0N 4.
In order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of
the cost of that portion of the said assessment which may be paid on the
Ten Year payment Ilan, the City of Paducah may issue and sell Improve-
ment Bonds; and, to secure the payment of said bonds, there is hereby
pledged such taxes And liens on the property Assessed herein for the
payment of the principal and interest, but such bonds shall not be
sold .for less than par and accrued interest, ani the proceeds thereof
applied exclusively in pa anent of the improvement hereinbefore mention-
ed, and such bonds, if issued, shall bear interest and shall be payable
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 3101 ar-d 3102 of the
Xertucky Statutes.

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, record and publication.
