That Sub -Section 12 of Section 4 of an ordinance entitled "AN ORD IIIAI;Cr, 17ROVIDIi.IG FOR TE-.` APPOIRTE-ENT OR R3TENTION, BY `.HE BOARD OF 7OY1`LS3IOI,rj2S Olt' T!'E, CI'N OF'IADUCAH, 1:1-1,TUC1;Y, AAD FIXIITG TH^IR llklA- I?ISS, 1'0:'�iRS 1'ED .DUTIi.S," Adopted by the Board of Commissioners on March 27th, 1922, be, and the same is hereby emended by strikino- therefrom the followinP 'cords and fieures, to-.vit: "One Repair 1'an, ­iho shall receive a salary of eleven Hundred and Forty (1140.00) Dollars annually," and addinrl, in lieu thereof the follo'ain�, words and fieures, 'to-'ait: "One Repair man, 'aho shell be an '?nF�ir;eer, ^nl who shell receive a salery of No. I 0 Y(� Fifteen Hundred Ordinance No_ - Fifteen - 0.00) Dollars annually," so that Sub -Section 12, Section 4, of said Ordinance, when so amendo^., shall read as follows, to -wit: "SUB-SECTI0U 12. A BUY ARINTMM-),'adT OF TM` OI`i'Y LIGHT PIAITT, who shall receive a salary of Sixteen Hundred and F,izhty ( $1680.00) Dollars (annually, and ;hose duty it shall be to superintend the arnegement and operation of the Light plant of the City of Paducah; to inspect all electrical wiring or work of any character placed in or around any build- ins uild'inti in the City of Paducah, and to perform such other duties as may be required of him by the Commissioner of lublic Property. One Engineer who shall receive r_ salary of Fifteen Hundred W1500.00) Dollars annually, and who shall be the Q' ineer of the City Tight Plant, and perform such duties as may be required of him by the Superintendent of said light Rant and Commissioner of Public Property, from time to time. One Fireman, who shall receive a salary of Twelve Hundred (11200.00) Dollars annually, who shall be the Fireman of said Light Plant, and perform such duties as may be required of him by the Superintendent in,of said Light llant and the Commissioner of Public 1roper'ty, from time to time. One Lamp Trimmer and I:ineman. who shall receive a salary* of Thirteen Hundred and .Eighty (u1380.00) Dollars annually, and who shall perform such duties as may be required of him by the Superintendent of !said Light Plant, and the Commissioner of Fublic Property. One Repair Llan, who shall be an Engineer, and who shall receive a salary of Fifteen Hundred (9"1500.00) Dollars annually, and who shall perform such duties as may be assigned to him by the Superintendent of said Light dant, and the Commissioner of Public Proparty. The Commissioner of lublic Property shall have the poorer to fix the hours during which the employees of said Light Plant shall be on 'duty, and make such rules and regulations in the management and govern- ment thereof, as he deems advisable, from time to time, and prescribe th( duties of each employee of said Department, and all of said employees shall be required to perform such duties as may be required of them by said Commissioner of Public Property. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, record and publication, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, in so far ae same c,)nflicts here-rith, are hereby repealed } RECORDED IOV,�?MIBER 27TH, 1923..
