TEN YEAR PAYIdUNT PLAN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIanTISSIONFRS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; SECTION 1. The both sides of 'Tenth Street from the North property line of Jefferson Street to the South property line of Madison Street; both side of Monroe Street from the West property line of Eie$th Street to the . 'gest property line of Twelfth Street; both sides of Second Street from the South property line of Washington Street to the North property line of Clark Street; both sides of Third Street from the North property line of Alonroe Street to the South property line of Iuladison Street-, both side of Eleventh Street from the North property line of Jefferson Street to the South property line of Madison Street; both sides of Twelfth Street from the South property line of Tennessee Street to the North property line of Jones Street; both sides of Ninth Street from the North property line of ItSonroe Street to the South property line of Madison Street and on both sides of Eighth Street from the North property line of Monroe Street to the South property line of I'+iadison Street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and the same are hereby ordered to be constructed that said curbs and gutters shall be constructed of concrete, suitable, in all respects, for such construction, and all to be done in strict accordance with the plzn grades, specifications, widths and profiles prepared in the office of the Commissioner of Public ',Yorks, and all of which are adopted as a part of this Ordinance, as fully as if embraced herein or attached hereto and made a part hereof, and marked "A'-' for 'more specific identification. SECTION 2. That said work shall be constructed under the direction and su- pervision of the Commissioner of Fublic Works, and shall. be commenced at the time designated by contract for the performance of said work, and completed on or before September 10th, 1923. SECTION 3. The cost of such construction of said work shall be paid for wholly by the property owners abutting or fronting thereon., to be appor- tioned to and assessed against the property and property owners abutting No.__LdO.Z _- Ordinance No.------ thereon o.-_—_-- thereon, aceordinP to the number of abutting feet thereon, except that por-! l (tion to be paid for by the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as required by law. SEC TION 4. The Contractor awarded the contract for the work herein, shall be ' paid as provided in Sections 3096, 3100, 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes. S;XJTION 5. The P;iayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all written, contracts and bonds with the successful bidder for the construction of said i improvement, as required by law. SECTION 6. Bids shall. be received for the construction of said improvement, according to the plans and specifications made and provided therefor by the Commissioner of Public 77orks, and the contract therefor shall. be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, except the richt is expressly reserved to reject any and all bids, within the discretion of the Board of Commissioners but they may accept any bid which is for the best interest of the City of Paducah. SECTION 7. i The Commissioner of Public Works is hereby P-iven the right and authority to advertise for bids for the construction of said improvement, but the manr:er of advertising and the time and place for receivinr, said bids i shall be desirr ated by the Board of Commissioners.
