BUILDING, OR UPON THE SIDEWALKS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
ANY PUBLIC CONVEYANCE IN THL CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GE'Iksft:L COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH' KENTUCKY.
SECTION 1 -That it stall be unlawful for any person or per cons to spit

or expectorate upon any of the floors or walls of any public buildinE
situated in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, whici, includes the MarKet
House of said City.
SECTION 2 -It shall be unlawful for eny person or persons to spit or
expectorate upon any of the floors or platforms of any street car or tractio;;
car run and operatcd within the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 3 -IT shall be unlawful for any person or persons to mit or
expectorate upon any of the sidewalks of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 4 -It shall be unlawful for any person or personsto spit or
expectorate in the doorway of anv house or dwelling in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 5 -it shall be unlawful for any person or persons Lo spit or
expectorate in any pub is conveyance run or operated within to e City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 6 -It 8,:all be the duty of all officers or employees in charge
of or controlling any such public buildings, street cars or traction cors
or public conveyances, to keep posted a Oufficient number of notices printed
in large letters and posted or attached to said public buildings, street
cars or trection cc.rs and other public conveyances, giving notice to the
general public that spitting or expectorating is prohibited injaid build-
ings, street cars, traction cars or other public conveyances asprovided by
Sections 1, 2, 5 and 6 of this Ordinance.
SECTION 7 -Any person or person, firm or firms, corporation or corpora-
tions violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon con is=`>
tion in the Police Court of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be fined in anv
sum not less than One Dollar nor more than Five Dollars for e6ch offense,
