Sec. 1. That sidewalks Curbs and gutters,
intakes, catch basins, severs, and drivevrays, oil both sides of South Sixth
street, (exzept the filled portion thereof) in the City of PFduca,h, Kentucky,
be, and the same are, hereby ordered to be constructed.
Sec.2. Said sidey!alks, and (?utters shn.11 be constructed of concrete material
PInd the curbing therefor shall be of granite and all of said work shall be
done in s$rrict accordance vrith the plans, grades, specifactions, widths,and
Profiles of the City Engineer, made and provided for such purposes, and all of
r;hichXre adopted as a part hereof as if fully set forth herein, and smae are
rtovr referred to, and marked "A" for more specific identifaction.
Sec. 3. Said work shall be con::tructed under the direction of the Board of

Public Works and the supervision of the City Engineer, and shall be commenced
et a time designated by the contract for the performance of said 'work, and
completed on or before September lst 1914.
Sec 4. The cost of such construction of sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, with
all necessary manholes, intakes, catch basins, sewers and driveways therefor,
shall be paid for wholly by the property ovmers abutting or fronting; thereon,
or both sides thereof, to be apportioned to and assessed against the property
owners fronting and abutting thereon, on both sides thereof, according to the
nuriber of feet:,fronting or abutting thereon, except the corner lots abutting
upon said improvement; shall pal,for the entire cost of all intersections in
additional to the construction immediately abutting; said property, and the

City of Paducah, shall pay the cost, o17 construction abutting all public Alleyd.
Sec 5. The contractor awarded the contract for the work herein provided for
shall be paid only from the funds arising from the special tax bills and ass-
essments against the propertir abutting; the improvement, herein described, and
in no other way, axcept that the said contractor may be paid out of such bonds.

'.improvement warrents shell be estimated andassessed as apart, of the cost of the
;improvement herein provided for.
