AN ORDINA14CP FIXINF THE LEVY OR;RATF OF TAXATION ON PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH
I FOR THE YEAR 1914 AND THE RATE OF THE POLL TAX WITH --E PURPOSE OF THE SAID LEVY
THEREUNDER- DEFINED.

Sec. I. That there is hereby levied for the year 1914. upon the take
able property within the city of paducah, ky, real and personal, an advoram tax of
one dollar and thirty- five cents ( $I.35.)pursuant to section 157. of the state co;
-stitution, and forty cents (,40.cts)pursuant to section 26.of chapter 137 of the
1912acts of the general assembly of the commonwealth of kentucky, making one dollar
and seventy- five cents ( �?I.75.) on each one hundred(�Ioo.00) dollars worth of said
real and personal property in the city of paducah, kentucky: and there is also levie
a poll tax 'of one dollar and fifty cents (aI.50.)on each male resident of the city
over tvrentp- one (2I), years "of=age,t for 'the.,sLid year-of:191,.
Sec. 2. That the rate of taxation for each item of expenditure
as heretofore apportioned and set out by ordinance, shall be on each one hundred
(?200.00) dollars vrorth Of said property, as follOVIS, to -vitt:

and paid to the city treasurer, shall be distributed to thier respective ac
counts in the -same proportion as the advaloram tax, as herein before providdc
for.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passa�?e, ap—
