TOHFREAS, The General council of the city of paducah, ky, has heretofore, tl
to—:'ritt; on the 16th day of June, 1913, adopted an ordinance , entitled, " an ordi
nance providing for the construction of concrete sidewalks and gutter,_, -.together with T
granite curbing and all neccessaty manholes, intakes., catch basins, severs and drivevrRy�
on both sides of south fourth street Prom kentucky avenue to norton street i n the city#
of paducah, ky, " and,.

A:TERRAS, in accordance with said ordinance it is provided that the cost ..i
of construction of said sidewalks, curbs, utters, sayers. intakes, man oles. catch bas.',

ins,and drivoways, shell be paid ,:or by the abutting property owners on both sides of
said street, except, that portion to be paid by the city of paducah, as required by law;
and, VlHFRFAS, pursuant to said ordinanc=e a contract was on the 26th dry of

July, 1913.entered into by and between G.W.KatterJohn and the city of paducah for the �
construction thereof; and,
V,7117,RF.AS, said contract has been completed in all respects, and the 1iR;
provement therein provided for has been finished and accepted by the general council of
the city of pad•uceh, ky, on the 17th day of november, 1913. pursuant to recommendation
made therefor by the boardof public works of said city;
NOW, therefore, be it ordained by the general council of the city of pad
ucah, ky,
SEC.I. Th at all of the property on both side of south fourth street,
from kentucky avenue to porton s.' -heat, in the city of paducah, ky, br, and the same is
hereby , assosoed the sum of X1.79157 per front foot for the cost of construction of
said sidewalks, curbs, getters, servers, manholes, intakes, catch basins and driveways. ,

SFC. 2. That all of the funds derived from the assessme,it of said prop°,
erty'shall be used for the purpose of paying off the special tax bills issued against

said property , or such bonds as may be issued by the city of paducah pursuant to sectio;

SEC.3 That pursuant, to section 31OI of the kentucky statutes , as
amended and ru.- enacted by an act of the general assembly of the commonwealth of kentue i

the property for the payment of the principal and interest of such bonds an(, such
