WHERAS, in accordance with said ordinance , it is provided that the cost
of construction of said sidewalks, curbs, gutters, sewers, intakes, manholes, catch
basins and driveswa-s shall be paid for b"- the abutting property owners onboth 4iides
said s treet, except that portion to: be paid (,y. the city of Paducah as required by
laz✓ ; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to said ordinance , a contract was on the 30th. day of
September, 1912. entered into by, and between J.B. Gardnerand G. A. Katterjohn ,partnrr I
trading and doing business under the firm name and styie of Gardner & Katterjohn and
the city`of Paducah, kentucky, for the constructi orthereof; and,

Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Y.cntucky:

SEC.I. That all property on both sides of north tenth street from.
clay street to triable street., except that portion of said sidewalks on the east sid`s
thereof abutting the property of P.F.Lally in the city of paducah , kentucky, be, and.
the same is hereby assessed in the sum of 0 1.5504 per front foot for the cost of
construction of said sidewalks, curbs, gutters, sewers, ranholes, intakes
catch basins ans driveways;
Sec, 2„ That all of the funds derived from the assessnent of said
Iroperty shall be used for the purpose of paying off the special tax bills
issuedbagainst said property on such bonds as may be issued by the city of
Paducah pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes;
Sec; 3. That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes
as amended and reenacted by hri act of the (,eneral Assembly of the Co=orweAlth of

interest; and shall be payable; in accordance with the terms of Seca
3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, as anended and reenacted by the Gereral
