THEREFBR.
Be it ordained by theGeneral Council or the City of Paducah, Kentucky;
Sec.' 1. That there shall be printed and published in the official net^rs-
ppper of the city of Paducah r, correct and full abstract of the Proceed—
ings of the General Council, and all ordinances' resolutions, finance
committees' reports, contractors' notices, proclamations, election
notices and ail other official advertising as may be neccessary under tite
charter of seconrl class cities, or the ordinances of the city oz'
Paducah,. Kentucky, an(] the compensation for said advertising-, abstracts,
notices, reports and. proclamations shall be paid month,y out of the
city treasury to- the owner of said newspaper at the regular general �
advertising rate of said newspaper; but shall exceed, r,t no tine, tite
rate for official advertising as establish6d by the general. statutes
Of r,entucky; provided, however, that in printing sari official ad=
vertising other than said abstracts a; type shall not oe used that is
larger �rhan the regular body -type of said newspaper and there shall
not be used more than one display lute as a caption to said reports,
notices, anr' proclamations; and said caption shall not be larger t' -an

Section 2. All bills for official advertising shall have
